8 cases of COVID-19 on Chadron State campus
CHADRON - Four students and four employees at Chadron State College have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, according to an update from the school Friday.
Three of the employees were listed as recovered by the end of last week.
The Chadron Public Schools account for 10 cases, 8 at the high school and 1 each at the middle school and primary school.
Three of the high school cases have recovered and the district has 25 quarantined staff members and students.

Dawes: 13 new cases (7 community spread, 6 close contact)
Scotts Bluff: 5 new cases (2 community spread, 2 travel-related, 1 close contact)
Sheridan: 2 new cases (community spread)
Cheyenne: 1 new case (community spread)
Morrill: 1 new case (close contact)
Garden: 1 new case (close contact)
While Dawes County had the highest amount of new cases, it also had the highest amount of recoveries announced Monday. Here is the breakdown for recoveries by county:
Dawes: 15 recoveries
Scotts Bluff: 10 recoveries
Sheridan: 1 recovery
