NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Loup Basin Public Health Department quarantined 24 Broken Bow School District Staff Friday after three staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The school is taking action affecting many students in response to the quarantine. All Pre-Kindergarten and Grades 6th through 12th are cancelled through August 21st. According to a press release from the school, the classes for students in these grade levels resume Monday, August 24th.

The release explains all Kindergarten through 5th grade students are to report at normal times to school on Monday, August 17th. All 9-12 practices resume as normal on Monday, August 17th.

Also, beginning Monday, August 17th through September 7th, all students and staff are required to wear masks. This includes extracurricular activities and school transportation.
