Old West Balloon Fest continues with qualifying competition
Qualifying for US Nationals continue through the weekend with competition across the area

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The 2020 Old West Balloon Fest is underway in the area. Thursday morning the competition phase got started as a little over twenty balloons took to the air.
The top finishers will earn a spot at the United State Nationals which will be held in the area next year. Balloon pilots have to find targets across different locations to score points.
Qualifying will continue Friday and Saturday morning in Mitchell. With the night glow set for Saturday evening at Five Rocks in Gering.
