BEATRICE – There was a three-way race for the Republican nomination in a Marshall County, Kansas Second District Commission race on Tuesday.

In unofficial results, Frederich Blaske came out on top, with 294 votes…..Thomas Holle getting 193…and Donald King 169.   It was the only contested county race in Tuesday’s Primary.

Blue Rapids, Kansas voters passed a local sales tax question by a wide margin…..205—27…..about 88-percent in support of the tax.

There were 2,459 ballots cast, in Marshall County, Kansas.

Washington County, Kansas voters have decided a Second District Republican runoff for a county commission seat in Tuesday’s Primary.

David Willbrant easily defeated Joanne Dague, by an unofficial vote of 438--149.  A Washington Township Trustee race went to Robert D. Johnson, who defeated Terri Gauby, 47--33.

In the race for Kansas House in the 106th District, Washington County voters narrowly supported Lisa Moser over Jon Ungerer….820--803.  In neighboring Marshall County, voters supported Ungerer over Moser, 1,063--795.

In Washington County, Kansas, 1,129 people cast ballots…with 821 choosing early voting.
