SIDNEY - The staff at Brand New Items for a Great Deal in downtown Sidney are enjoying a bigger space and filling their new location at 940 10th Ave. with unique items at nearly half-off the price of online retailers.

The store has been open since May and offers electronics, shampoo, men's products, baby attire. outdoor gear, Husker merchandise and unique grocery items. 

Team Leader Stephanie Dadgostar says the new location has been fantastic.

"We have way more room, so we can bring way more products to the community," Dadgostar said. "A little bit more roomier so we can shop, you don't bump into your neighbor like the old place. We got something good going on down here."

A new addition to Brand New Items for a Great Deal is the Coffee Shop. Downtown consumers remember the building at the corner of 10th and Jackson as the Book & Coffee Corner.

The new coffee shop, which as been open for two weeks, is offering hot and cold drinks (such as a German ice coffee), croissants, bagel sandwiches, English muffins and desserts (like a hot raspberry sundae).

Team Leader Katie Green says the response from the community has been great and calls the new shop a place the entire family can enjoy.

"The Coffee Shop is going great," Green said. "Fresh products every single day. From our baked goods, to our coffee, to our smoothies...everything is as fresh as possible."

Brand New Items for a Great Deal & Coffee Shop is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
