COLUMBUS - A Columbus man has had sexual assault charges against him dropped.

Twenty-nine-year-old Shawn Finch, whom Columbus police described as a traveling worker, was accused of assaulting a woman in December 2019.  A police spokesman had said a woman told them she was staying in a hotel with Finch when the alleged incident happened.

According to court documents, Finch had been charged with first degree sexual assault and two counts of terroristic threats.  All three charges were dismissed earlier this year.
