(Peru, Neb) – Early in the 2020 recruiting process, there were two key needs that were determined by the Bobcat football coaching staff - offensive lineman and defensive backs. Clayton Dunlap and Demetris Taylor helped address those needs when they signed from Hogan Prep (Mo.).

Born and raised in Kansas City, Dunlap stands at 6-1, 330 pounds and could play center or guard for the Bobcats. He is the son of Tanya Bell and will major in physical education with a minor in coaching.

Taylor, a 5-10, 185-pound athlete from Raytown, Mo., played both ways in high school but will use his talents as a defensive back when he steps on campus. While at Hogan Prep, Taylor also ran track. He is the son of Shannah Taylor and will major in criminal justice.

Graduate assistant coach Justin Barnes had this to say about the pair, "Recruiting these two over the last couple of months has been fun. Their passion and work ethic, coupled with their athletic abilities, will pave the way for them to have excellent careers both on and off the field."

Hogan Prep finished the 2019 campaign with a 7-3 record. The Rams won their first round playoff game in Missouri 2A over University Academy Charter (Kansas City) 39-20.
