Sidney Farmers Market In Full Swing
Things are starting to get back to normal out in the panhandle, as the Sidney Farmers Market was once again in full swing for community members on Saturday.

SIDNEY - Saturday morning, local vendors gathered in Hickory Square for the weekly Farmer’s Market. The market this morning included a variety of different products from jams and jellies to jewelry and self defense gear.
Lori Borchert, the city official who overlooks the farmer’s market, said that the market provides the city with an opportunity to support local businesses.
Marguerite Pool, the owner of Wreaths By Marguerite, says that the farmer’s market helped transition her from the city life to the more relaxed pace of Sidney.
“Being new to the community last year, I wanted to get a feel a little bit more for the community since I do wreathing," Pool said. "It’s allowed me to get out and meet people, show people my product, get ideas for what people are looking for in the community.”
The Sidney Farmer’s Market takes place every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon in Hickory Square.
