CASS COUNTY - One person is in critical condition after a car accident in Cass County.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to Highway 50 south of Highway 34 for a one vehicle rollover injury accident on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say several callers reported reckless driving before the car entered the ditch, rolled onto it's top and caught fire.

The driver and lone occupant, 75-year-old John Hetrick of Omaha, was pulled from the car by several motorists.

Hetrick was taken to Syracuse Hospital, where Lifenet then took him to Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln in critical condition.

Authorities say a medical episode is believed to be the cause of the crash.
