Antelope Memorial Hospital activates new Comms System
The FastCommand system will let the hospital better communicate with staff, patients, and the public.
Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh has a new communication system designed to better serve the public, its patients, and its staff.
The new design comes courtesy of FastCommand, a pandemic communication system.
Using the new system, the hospital is able to send out mass amounts of information to staff, like disaster plans, straight to their mobile devices.
It also gives the hospital more bandwidth for its public website, preventing slowdown from heavy traffic, and it also protects from hacking attempts.
The new system also comes with a message board to keep communication lines open in the case of telecommunications failure.
"FastCommand provides our hospital with the technology that was needed by our administration," says Antelope Memorial Hospital CEO Diane Carlin. "The tools provided by FastCommand are allowing our staff to quickly increase communications, coordination, and information flow."
