Allison Tichy to Golf for Peru State
Bobcat women's golf coach Sue Owen recently announced the signing of Allison Tichy of Bellevue to play for the Peru State team this fall.
(Peru, Neb.) – Bobcat women's golf coach Sue Owen recently announced the signing of Allison Tichy of Bellevue to play for the Peru State team this fall.
Tichy, the daughter of Michelle and Greg Tichy, is a fifth-year senior and is a kinesiology major with a psychology minor at Peru State. She has previously been a two-year member of the Peru State women's basketball team.
The Bellevue East High School graduate played at North Platte Community College prior to coming to Peru State to play basketball.
While playing basketball for the Bobcats, Tichy has been recognized on the Dean's List four times. In addition, last year, she was named a Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) Scholar-Athlete. Tichy will again earn that honor and will also be named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete this summer.
Tichy and her basketball teammates tripled their previous win total from her junior season as the 'Cats won 13 games this season – the most since the 2012-13 campaign.
