FULTON, MO - A Lincoln man has been arrested following a manhunt in central Missouri.

According to local authorities Drew Pierce, 31,  of Lincoln and Ronnie Lloyd, 31, of Fulton were taken into custody on Tuesday after a nearly 13 hour search for the couple near Fulton, Missouri.

Fulton Police say officers tried to pull Pierce over for a traffic violation when he sped away and hit an officer with his car, prompting police to fire at the vehicle.

After an overnight search Pierce was arrested on numerous charges including assault and burglary. Lloyd was also taken into custody.

According to local law enforcement, Pierce had a warrant out in Nebraska for a felony weapons offense.
