Ag Society Plans to Move Forward with 2020 Custer County Fair

BROKEN BOW - As of now, the Custer County Fair is still on.

The Custer County Ag Society Board made that determination at their most recent meeting last week.

This year's fair is scheduled to run from July 24th to the 30th in Broken Bow.

UNL Extension officials told the board that if an in-person fair takes place rather than a virtual fair, there may be additional social distancing guidelines put into place.

Fair officials say the annual livestock auction is another area of concern and specifically their ability to get base bids in the current livestock market.
