SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY - Panhandle Public Health officials announced two new cases of COVID-19 and two recoveries in Scotts Bluff County Tuesday.

The new cases involve a woman in her 40's and a teenager.

They are both close contacts of a previously confirmed case. Contact investigations are complete and close contacts will be quarantined and monitored.

The two new recoveries bring the counties total of recoveries to 16. There have been 29 total cases in Scotts Bluff County as of Tuesday afternoon.

Box Butte: 1 case

Cheyenne: 6 cases (2 active, 4 recovered)

Kimball: 10 cases (0 active, 10 recovered)

Morrill: 1 case

Scotts Bluff: 29 cases: (13 active, 16 recovered)
