No positive tests from North Central mass testing events
Health officials say all coronavirus tests from Friday mass testing events returned negative.
O’NEILL, NE — Health officials say all coronavirus tests from Friday mass testing events returned negative.
The North Central District Health Department says nobody tested positive at its O’Neill and Bloomfield testing events on Friday. The events were operated by the Nebraska National Guard and were designed to give officials a clearer picture of the spread of the virus in the state.
The National Guard had the capacity to test 100 people between the events. The testing events were targeted at people who are in continued public exposure settings.
In a statement, the Health Department thanked residents for their social distancing efforts and encouraged them to continue to follow guidelines.
