STATEWIDE - Some people who attended religious services during the Covid-19 pandemic may soon hear from the Justice Department.
Spokeswoman Kerri Kupec Tweeted on Saturday that social distancing policies "must be applied evenhandedly."
She says that applies to religious organizations.
Attorney General William Barr is taking close watch on the matter and action of some sort is expected this week.
Many states have put '"stay at home" orders in place due to the coronavirus outbreak but some states have exceptions for religious activities.
The US Government has the ability to limit assemblies like religious gatherings if it protects health.
