PPHD announces recovery of Cheyenne County COVID-19 case
CHEYENNE COUNTY - Panhandle Public Health District has announced that the positive COVID-19 case in Cheyenne County has recovered and is out of isolation.
The case involved a woman in her 20s. With her recovery, there are no active cases of COVID-19 in the Panhandle.
Panhandle Public Health also said they have received around 40 tests back from labs over the last two days. All results were negative.
The 47 tests the National Guard performed in Kimball County Thursday are still pending. The National Guard performed another 50 tests in Scotts Bluff County Friday and will be back on Saturday to perform more.
Panhandle Public Health officials say it may take longer than normal for the results of those tests to be received because of the weekend.
21 people have tested positive in the Panhande: 10 in Scotts Bluff County, 10 in Kimball County and one in Cheyenne County. Three in Scotts Bluff, two in Kimball and the one case in Cheyenne County have recovered.
