RANDOLPH, NE - A late-night crash between a semi and a tractor has sent an individual to the hospital.

The Randolph Volunteer Fire and Rescue Facebook page says units responded to the to scene just after 11 PM on Friday after a tractor hauling a planter collided with a semi.

The crash closed down Highway 81 in northeast Nebraska for nearly six hours before crews were able to reopen it just before 5 AM.

One person was taken to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
