An outbreak of COVID-19 inside an Omaha long-term care facility continues to grow.

According to officials with the Douglas County Health Center, there are now 18 positive cases at the facility an increase of 16 since Sunday.

Of the 18, 13 are residents, five are staff members.

All are said to be in stable condition.

We're told the Coronavirus first entered the building, which houses nearly 200 long-term care individuals, by a staff member who was tested after screening revealed a fever.

Officials say they are working with experts from the University of Nebraska Medical Center to try and contain the virus.
