Beatrice Public School officials announced today there will be no traditional graduation ceremonies held in May.
Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts on Wednesday announced Nebraska’s eighth Directed Health Measure which included schools statewide to operate without students in their buildings through May 31st.
Beatrice School officials will be working to determine appropriate alternative methods to honor the Class of 2020, whether that be a ceremony at a later date or some other locally determined alternative graduation that complies with the guidance of health officials.
The district offices will remain open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday with only critical staff reporting as directed.
