The Center will remain closed through middle April

SIDNEY - The Cheyenne County Community Center and Kids Korner in Sidney will remain closed through April 12th.

That's according to a release Wednesday from Activities Director Kiersten Richards. The Center has been closed since March 17.

The decision by the Foundation Board of Directors is to stay in accordance with the Panhandle Public Health Guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Memberships have been put on hold through the closing period, which will extend member's expiration dates, according to Richards. She says monthly billing on memberships has been suspended.

"The board is asking its membership to be patient during this critical time in our community, state & nation," Richards said. "We will all get through this and be stronger because of it."

Congregate Meals home delivery and curbside pickup will remain available through the closure. For meal orders, please call Judy Shaefer at (308) 254-4835.
