SIDNEY, NE - A ferocious winter storm is causing whiteout conditions in Sidney Thursday afternoon.

Many roads in the area are closed, including Interstate 80. Find more on the closings here: 

NCN's Elic Chisam took this video while riding along with the Sidney Police Department. Authorities urge people to stay indoors and off the roads until the storm is over.
