Blizzard Warning canceled for northern Nebraska Panhandle

SIDNEY, NE - The National Weather Service out of Cheyenne has canceled the Blizzard warning in Box Butte, Dawes and Sioux Counties in Nebraska.

SIDNEY, NE - The National Weather Service out of Cheyenne has canceled the Blizzard warning in Box Butte, Dawes and Sioux Counties in Nebraska. 

All other counties in the panhandle are still under a blizzard warning until 6:00 a.m. Mountain time Friday. 

According to the National Weather Service, the southern panhandle could see 8 inches of snow with localized higher amounts. Winds will gust up to 50 miles per hour, making travel very difficult.
