BRADY, Neb. - A Brady man was arrested Thursday morning on gun and drug charges, after the Lincoln County Sheriff's office obtained a search warrant for 39-year-old Darby Stevens.

Officials learned Stevens had a firearm when he is a felon and should not legally been in possession of a gun. Thursday morning Stevens was arrested after a traffic stop west of Brady.

Deputies found drug paraphernalia and a large amount of suspect marijuana. After a search of Stevens home, deputies also found three firearms, cross bows, and drugs.

Stevens is charged with several gun charges, child abuse, manufacturing and distributing drugs and a number of other drug charges
