Exercising for free in Kimball

Panhandle Public Health District wants you to show your heart some love this month by utilizing many of the free facilities in Kimball for exercise.

KIMBALL, Neb. - Panhandle Public Health District wants you to show your heart some love this month by utilizing many of the free facilities in Kimball for exercise.

The free options include Main Street Market and Kimball Health Services’ North Campus.

Both locations offer a place to walk when it’s windy, rainy, snowy, icy or you just don’t want to walk outside.

At Main Street Market, 12 laps around gives you one mile.

At North Campus, eight trips around gets you one mile.

Activate Kimball Facebook group will have their next scheduled meeting on March 9th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Kimball Elementary School.

They will discuss sensory hallway at the elementary school and grant funding opportunity to enhance the work.
