Interstate 80 Westbound closed from Sidney to Wyoming Border

SIDNEY, NE - The Nebraska Department of Transportation closed Interstate 80 westbound from Sidney to the Wyoming Border on Sunday.

U.S. Highway 30 westbound from Sidney to the border is also closed.

The eastbound lanes on both roads remain open. 

NDOT says the reason for the closure is because of weather conditions in Wyoming.

According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, winter weather has caused the closure of Interstate 80 across much of the state, including up to the Nebraska border. 

NDOT said on Twitter that closure may move as space at interchanges fills up.
