FREMONT – Fremont Public Schools announced that Myron Sikora will be taking the lead role at Fremont High School as Principal. Sikora will replace Scott Jensen, who has served in the role for the last three years in an interim capacity.

Sikora has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Secondary Education from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA. He has a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration as well as additional coursework from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Sikora came to Fremont High School in 1999 and taught Spanish 2, 3, 4 and 5 for six years. He has served as an Assistant Principal at FHS for the past 15 years, giving him a total of 21 years of experience at Fremont Public Schools.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to continue working with Myron Sikora in his new role as Principal of Fremont High School,” Executive Director of Secondary Operations Jensen said. “Fremont High School is a special place with fantastic students and an outstanding staff. Mr. Sikora is a highly effective leader who is focused on the growth of both students and teachers.”
