Columbus police arrest two for drugs following traffic stop
Police booked the driver and his passenger for possession of a controlled substance.

COLUMBUS - Two are in custody for drugs following a traffic stop in Columbus over the weekend.
It happened Saturday near 15th Street and 32nd Avenue. A CPD spokesman said an officer spotted 32-year-old Michael Detty driving a vehicle and knew he had a suspended license.
After arresting Detty, police said they searched the vehicle and found a syringe and a container, both with small amounts of suspected meth.
Police booked Detty and his passenger, 24-year-old Angela Dohmen, for possession of a controlled substance.
Detty also faces charges of possession or use of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 12.
Dohmen's court date is set for Feb. 19.
