LINCOLN - Sen. Bruce Bostelman of Brainard made it official Monday. 

His office announced that he has filed for reelection to the Nebraska Legislature.

Bostelman represents District 23, which includes Butler and Saunders Counties, as well as most of Colfax County.

In a statement, Bostelman said, in part: "I am working to earn your support again so I can continue to fight for property tax relief, grow agriculture and Main Street, and protect our pro-life values."

Bostelman has served on the Vice Chairman of the Natural Resources Committee and is a member of the Transportation and Telecommunications Committee as well.  He's also a member of the Nebraska Broadband Task Force.

Both Gov. Pete Ricketts and Lt. Gov. Mike Foley have endorsed him.
