OMAHA - The Omaha metro area is dealing with the latest round of snowfall.

The winter weather caused a headache for drivers during the morning commute. Numerous car accidents were reported across the city.

For travelers, Epply Airfield said in a Twitter post Friday morning that the airport will remain open, but they urge a check of your airline for individual flight status.

According to the Nebraska 511 Road Reports map, most streets and highways in the Omaha area are considered to be completely covered.

The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect in Douglas County through tonight with strong winds and total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.
