CAIRO - Ten different players scored for Centura on Saturday evening, as the Centurions put together an impressive offensive performance to knock off Gothenburg.

The Centurions jumped out to an early 25-8 lead after the first quarter, punctuated by a buzzer-beating three-pointer from senior Ben Noakes. Gothenburg would make some adjustments both offensively and defensively as the game continued, but Centura kept its foot on the gas pedal and remained in front of the Swedes throughout.

After leading 39-21 at the half, the Centurions would go up 52-31 at the end of the third quarter and coasted to a 66-39 victory in the final frame. Noakes lead the way with 15 points for the Centurions, while senior Spencer Meyer scored 11 and junior Trent Rasmussen added 10 in the win.

Centura improved to 7-3 with the victory, and has now won three of its past four games. Centura will head on the road against Doniphan-Trumbull on Tuesday, while Gothenburg will try and bounce back at home on Thursday against Cozad.
