Missing Stanton Boy Found Safe

STANTON - The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says a missing Stanton boy has been found safe.

According to a statement from Sheriff Mike Unger, Damien Erickson of rural Stanton was located Friday about 1:30 p.m.

He had previously been reported missing from Stanton since January 6th.

Sheriff Unger says Erickson had been tracked to Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska by the Sheriff's Office and was believed to be with at least one other missing youth from that area who also has since returned home.

Erickson returned to Stanton and has been reunited with his family.
