Two unnamed teen-agers remain persons of interest in the 6-month-old deadly crash that killed four Gretna High School girls, a crash that involved alcohol and speeding.

But according to the Sarpy County Sheriff, the two have been lawyer-ed up for months and refuse to co-operate with investigators, who believe the pair may have helped supply the alcohol.

As News Channel Nebraska first reported earlier this month the investigation remains at an impasse.

Today authorities went public detailing the scope of the investigation along with a plea to all families throughout the area that, "It's a time to ask parents to stand up and be parents" and know what their children are up to.

Sheriff Jeff Davis says while the crash investigation has stalled, it has turned up other unrelated information leading to the arrests of 12 teens for shoplifting alcohol, three minor in possession arrests and one arrest for purchasing a fake I-D.

Davis says fake I-D's, available for 300 dollars on the internet, are showing up more and more.

A 14-thousand-five-hundred dollar reward remains in effect for information leading to an arrest in the case.
