LINCOLN - Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have removed 45 impaired drivers from Nebraska roads during the first ten days of the holiday season’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.

Dozens of agencies across Nebraska are teaming up for the annual enforcement effort, which began on December 13th and runs through January 1st.

Around 33% of fatality crashes on Nebraska roads in 2019 have involved alcohol.

The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign is made possible in part to a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
