SIDNEY, Neb. - After the announcement mid-November that the retail building which houses Buffalo Point Steakhouse & Grill is for sale, management has confirmed the restaurant will be closing at the end of December. The last day of operation will be Sunday, Dec. 29. 

Having been built in 2006, the over 8,700 square foot restaurant and sports bar, Buffalo Point Steakhouse & Grill, at 638 Cabela Drive, is still listed for sale on an online commercial real estate site.

The asking price for the location is currently listed at $950,000, which includes all furniture and equipment, plus the 1.86 acres of land and building. While a majority of the description centers around the seating capacity and other features such as a dance floor and private room, the listing also notes the facility is “wide open for any development, light manufacturing and processing, warehousing, distribution center.” 

It is estimated that about 20 employees currently work at the restaurant.
