Pender Water Main Break Effects Public School

*** UPDATE ***
Life is back to normal today for Pender residents after the village was placed on water restrictions and a boil notice yesterday.
According to posts on the Pender Village Board Facebook page, water use was restricted after a water main feeding the community's water tower broke. The Board said the water tower sat completely empty.
The Village Board distributed free bottled water at the community center as the problem persisted.
Pender Public schools canceled all scheduled events because of the problem.
The Village Board says the water situation was back to normal late last night thanks to the work of village employees and Penro Construction.
