NDOT Announces the Opening of Highway 11 Bridge South of Butte

AINSWORTH - The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced the opening of the Highway 11 bridge, south of Butte.

According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, the bridge has been closed since March 13th when it was severely damaged by ice and flooding.

Kiewit Infrastructure Company of Omaha was the contractor for the repairs, estimated at 8 million dollars, and began work on June 24th.

While other work continues at the site, traffic may be reduced to one-lane and controlled by flaggers.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through construction zones.
