SIDNEY, Neb. - Three months after the announcement from the Media Relations Department at Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Taco John’s is now open and serving customers at the Love’s Sidney location. The Cheyenne, Wyoming-based fast-food restaurant featuring Mexican-inspired fast food opened its doors officially Thursday.

The location replaces the former IHOP Express which closed in September to allow for renovations to begin. All Love’s Travel Stops featuring IHOP Express locations are also currently undergoing similar changes. Despite the closure, the same crew, same atmosphere and same culture are back to serve diners and the local community.

The Chase Blvd location, South of the Interstate 80 exit into Sidney, does feature a drive thru and dine-in area for customers, and is listed on the Taco John’s website as being open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is the second time Taco John’s has had a presence in the Sidney community with the last franchise having closed in 2000.

The Sidney franchise gives the company 393 locations nationwide, 41 in Nebraska.
