Columbus man accused of using knife during altercation

COLUMBUS - A Columbus man is in jail for allegedly cutting someone during an altercation.
It happened on Friday at a home near 10th Street and 15th Avenue.
Columbus police said officers dispatched there because someone was reportedly being assaulted with a knife. They said when they got there, they found the victim with a cut on his throat and later found the suspect hiding in a nearby detached garage.
CPD said after a short altercation, they arrested 49-year-old Bryan Kohl for second degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and resisting arrest.
Kohl's bond is set at $250,000 and he's scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 30.
