Sheriff's Office identifies 87-year-old man killed in crash
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has identified a Seward man as the victim of a fatal accident in a crash at Highway 34 and Northwest 48th Street on Monday afternoon.

LINCOLN - The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has identified a Seward man as the victim of a fatal accident in a crash at Highway 34 and Northwest 48th Street on Monday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office says 87-year-old Richard Gardner was driving on Northwest 48th Street when he ran a red light and crashed into a semi in the intersection of Highway 34.
The driver of the semi was identified as 69-year-old Dale Nobbman of Pleasant Dale. Nobbman and his passenger were not injured.
Gardner was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
