Arrest Made in Middle School Shooting Threat
NORTH PLATTE - The North Platte Police Department has identified and arrested a 14-year-old boy believed to be responsible for leaving a written threat in a restroom at Adams Middle School.
Authorities say an anonymous note was left in a rest room at Adams Middle School on Thursday. The note made a threat of a school shooting.
In a statement, police say they have no additional information to lead them to believe there is an existing threat at the school.
North Platte Police thank the North Platte Public Schools staff for their cooperation during the investigation.
