HASTINGS - Hastings Police are following up on leads as to who might be responsible for vandalizing at least 70 mailboxes Thursday night and Friday morning.

The majority of the damage was done between the 600 and 900 blocks of South Street, Joseph Avenue, South Kansas Avenue and South Colorado Avenue.

There was also extensive damage done in the Lake Hastings area.

Hastings Police are encouraging anyone who has damage to their mailbox to report it.

There are also asking that anyone that has information on possible suspects to call them as well.
