More rent checks stolen from Lincoln housing areas

LINCOLN - Lincoln Police say two people who are stealing rent checks from different housing complexes struck again.

Authorities say they took a report of a rent check thefts from Contempo Mobile Home Park in Lincoln on Thursday afternoon around 1 p.m.

Police say multiple checks were taken out of a mailbox.

This comes after the duo reportedly hit four apartment complexes on Saturday.

The crimes were captured on surveillance.

Police say there could be a total of up to 60 victims.
