Several Huskers made an impact in Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season.

Ameer Abdullah (Vikings) led the way offensively for the Huskers in the NFL this weekend. He hauled in one 16-yard reception for a touchdown, rushed one time for two yards and recorded two tackles on special teams against the Chiefs on Sunday. Abdullah appeared in 71 percent of the special team plays while also seeing the field for nine offensive snaps.

Lavonte David (Buccaneers) was the top Blackshirt in the NFL over the weekend, piling up nine tackles (eight on defense, one on special teams), two tackles for loss, a 14-yard sack and a quarterback hurry. David started at linebacker and played the entire game vs. the Seahawks and was also in for three special team plays.

Brett Maher (Cowboys) was the most productive Husker on special teams, accounting for 13 points in the Cowboys' victory on Monday night. Maher went 3-for-4 on field goals and 4-for-4 on extra points. His longest made field goal was 52 yards.
