COLUMBUS - The Columbus Scotus Shamrocks took down the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers 48-28 Friday night to advance to the second round of the Class C1 Playoffs. 

QB Tyler Palmer accounted for four scores for Columbus. He threw for two and ran for another pair. FB/LB Eric Mustard had a receiving and rushing score for Scotus. WR Garrett Oakley had two receiving scores and WR Dalton Borchers threw a pair of scores. TE Levi Robertson also found the end zone for the Shamrocks.

For Bishop Neumann, QB Taylen Pospisil threw a pair of touchdowns and ran for another. David Lilly scored a rushing touchdown. Spencer Wiese and Trey Miller both hauled in touchdown receptions for the Cavaliers. 

Columbus Scotus will move on to face Wahoo in the second round of the playofffs next week.
