NORFOLK - A back and fourth game came down to the final play, and the ball bounced in favor of the Eagles.

With Lutheran High Northeast leading 56-52 with two second to play Lourdes Central Catholic quarterback Tanner Kochanowicz lined up under center for the last play of the game with starting signal-caller Blake Miller split out wide. Miller beat his defender in one on one coverage but was unable to bring down the jump ball in the end zone, ensuring the Eagles' victory.

Lutheran High NE quarterback Jaxon Kant accounted for all eight of the Eagles' touchdowns, throwing for 228 yards and running for 180.

Lutheran High will face top-seeded Howells-Dodge in the next round on Wednesday.
