CHADRON - Residents of Chadron had a chance to trick or treat a little early this past Friday with the city's annual Trunk or Treat event.

The event was hosted by the Chadron Chamber of Commerce and Chadron Kiwanis. The two hundred block of main street in downtown Chadron was lined with creative trunk set-ups from area businesses and organizations, and Chadron Kiwanis says it was the most trunks the event has had in four years.

A contest was also held for the best trunk, which was won by Farmer's State Bank with a Dr. Suess Candy Shoot.
