Columbus police bust two for drugs Saturday
Two people are sitting in Platte County Jail after Columbus police nabbed them for drugs Saturday.

COLUMBUS - Two people are sitting in Platte County Jail after Columbus police nabbed them for drugs Saturday.
A CPD spokesman said officers were responding to a shots fired call near 16th Avenue and 1st Street. There, they said they found two individuals with a smoking device that had trace amounts of meth and a Ziploc bag with a white, powdery substance.
CPD said they also found a small baggie of marijuana in a nearby vehicle.
Officers arrested 22-year-old Nicole Kleineweber of Columbus and 24-year-old Enrique Abarca of Lincoln for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Kleineweber has a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 24. Abarca's bond is $25,000 and his court appearance is set for Oct. 30.
