SCOTTSBLUFF - The first snow of the season has made its way into Nebraska.

Video from Scottsbluff taken early Thursday morning shows a light coating of mixed snow, ice and slush on the roads.

In Sioux and norther Dawes Counties, The National Weather Service reports up to six inches have already fallen.

Nebraska State Patrol Troopers out of Scottsbluff is already reminding drivers that the weather is changing so to be careful.

The NWS has issued a winter storm warning for Box Butte, Dawes, and Sioux Counties until 7 A.M. Friday and a winter warning has been issued for Sheridan and Cherry Counties until 1 P.M. Friday.
