Kansas Dump Truck Driver Killed in Washington County Crash
Dump truck goes off Kansas Highway 15, killing driver

By News Channel NebraskaBEATRICE – The driver of a dump truck was killed in a fatal crash in Washington County, Kansas Monday afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim as 77-year-old David Towner, of Ottawa, Kansas.
The dump truck driven by the victim had been traveling north on Kansas Highway 15 when the driver lost control and the truck entered the east ditch. The 1992 International traveled down an embankment, flipping end-over-end.
The truck came to rest on its top, in a pasture.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at about 2:50 p.m., Monday.
